The Winnebago County Medical Society represents a grass roots effort to meet face to face with legislators at state and national levels for discussion.

Physician Newsletter
Members receive regular newsletters that provide information on federal and state laws and regulations.

We work with RRVBC on community health issues.

Fit Families Task Force
The WCMS Alliance formed a coalition to address the concern physicians have with the problem of childhood obesity.

The task force has established the Food is Elemenatry program at the Rockford Public School Maria Montessori Elementary School and the Discovery Center Museum after school program. Haskell Academy community will be the focus this year.

Rockford Health Council
Work with the Council on various priorities for measuring and establishing programs to better the health of the community.
