Committees

Our committees bring together driven professionals who focus on distinct aspects of healthcare advancement, policy shaping, and community engagement.

Government Affairs Committee - Meet with state and national legislators to discuss legislation concerning healthcare and our community. Legislators work with local physicians to address concerns directly - either through local meetings or in Springfield - and by phone, e-mail or letter writing campaigns.

Finance Committee - Meet quarterly to review and make recommendations to the Board on the Medical Society's investment portfolio.

Golf Play Day Committee - Plan and carry out tasks to assure a successful golf play day. Find and register corporate sponsors and develop incentives to increase participating members.

Nominating Committee - Establish a slate of potential Board of Director candidates for the membership to vote on at the Annual Meeting.
